This image is being passed around by a lot of Bangladeshis via Facebook. They are understandably pissed.
There is a whole larger discussion of balance of trade issues, the race to the bottom, exporting jobs, corporations seeking the lowest market with the cheapest labor, etc etc.,.
To reduce it to Bangladesh = Bad, Canada = Good is not only failing to imagine complexly, it’s insulting.
Top Japanese chef killed in alleged attack by angry customers
9 News: Japanese star chef Miki Nozawa was killed on the German holiday island of Sylt following an alleged dispute with two disgruntled guests about a dish of fried noodles.
The 57-year-old died on Monday as a result of his injuries in the intensive care unit of a local hospital, said Ulrike Stahlmann-Liebelt, the senior public prosecutor from the nearby town of Flensburg.
